Standard Abrasives incorporates this A/O aluminum oxide AO material into the quick change 2 ply disc forming a grit of P100. All abrasive products that rotate or spin, such as the ones in this category, have a maximum speed at which you can run them. This Standard Abrasives quick change 2 ply disc can be run at a maximum speed of 30000 RPMs.
This is the type TSM which is simply means its a Roloc turn on/turn off with metal backing which is meant for heavier applications. If you have any of the other Roloc's like a plastic backing Type R or Type P, then you will simply need a new pad to use this type TSM. You can use your old 1/4" mandrel.
