Rare 1862 1st ed Joan of Arc by Strab in German very scarce hardcover G to VG For Sale

A rare 1862 copy of Joan of Arc Lady of Orleans in German by Heinrich Strab. Old copies of the historical account of Joan of Arc are tough in general as opposed to the poems. This book is very scarce and it\'s a nice looking copy.I\'d net grade the book as a nice Good but it\'s pushing VG.the covers have nice color with a little corner roll and wear. Covers and binding are solid. There is minimal foxing at the front end paper area not extending into text. Text is clean with a little even age toning. The text does have some sporadic slight waiving due to moisture I would assume. Not bad though. Looks VG in hand and what would commonly sell on as VG. Have a look for yourself. A tough book on a popular subject. There isn\'t much in English on the subject going back much before WW2.I\'m not sure about the spelling on the authors name. The spine says \"Strass\" but that\'s not the spelling.I see one other copy at just shy of 250 dollars. Very tough subject. I\'ve hunted books on this subject for decades and there isn\'t much except for the poetry. The history books are tough.See photos for condition.
