Up for sale is a highly scarce, very rare genuine 1924 original 1st edition printing of Mystic Americanism by Grace Kincaid Morey in very good to near fine condition. Published by the Eastern Star Publishing Company, this elusive work explores the foundational, mystical, and spiritual traditions woven into early American culture.
Structured as twenty distinct lessons in a question-and-answer format, the book details the hidden, esoteric symbology behind the designs of the Great Seal of the United States, the Eye of Providence, the Statue of Liberty, and the American Flag. It stands as a fascinating cross-section of early 20th-century American occultism, often heavily cross-referenced and later expanded upon by prominent Rosicrucian figures like Dr. R.S. Clymer.
Unlike the modern print-on-demand paperbacks flooding the market, this is a true vintage hardcover artifact, complete with beautifully stamped gilt cover graphics and unique early publishing iconography. A must-have centerpiece for collectors of Masonic literature, esoteric Americana, secret society histories, or early occult movements.
Plus use pictures for condition but over all this book is in very good condition.
There is only one other copy of this rare book currently up for sale and its on Etsy currently for $2250. Its not even close on condition as this one is so much better with only a couple of minor minor flaws. One being a tiny fox like stain picture in the images and some very minor edge wear and a tiny pencil mark on the back end papers toward the binding but very minute and look like it could just be erased but ill leave that to an expert. This is the nicest condition copy of this book that has been for sale in a while. There was recently a copy sold in Feb for $999.99 in worse condition by far. It had dinged corner and foxing/tanning throughout the book which this copy does not. So at the same price this is a real steal of a deal. Pick this rarity up before you someone else does and you end up regretting not pulling the trigger while you could have.
