Rare 1940s/50s game worn Walnut Iowa flannel baseball uniform-Spalding/Hauff tag For Sale

*****NEAT ITEM----MN ESTATE SALE FIND**I AM NOT AN EXPERT BUT DID LOTS OF RESEARCH**** Neat and scarce old flannel/wool baseball uniform (jersey & pants). Great gray color with red/white trim on pants & shirt, has \"walnut\" in Red script lettering sewn on across the front, and a #2 sewn on the back. The jersey is a neat Talon zipper front style which were popular in the mid 1930s through 1950 or so. This seems to be from the late 1940s/early 50s by the style of it. (if you experts know anything about this please let me know). There is a tag on each piece as well as a size tag. The jersey has a dual-tag...\"Hauff Sporting Goods Co, Spalding Athletic Equipment, Omaha, Nebr.\" and a size tag 38 sewn on underneath it. The baggy pants have a zipper crotch, 2 back pockets and the same dual-tag and a \"Powers 32\" size tag. This is a rare tag, as Dwight Hauff, who was a salesman for A. G. Spalding, left the company to start his own sporting goods store in Sioux City Iowa in 1933, and Omaha approximately 1940, and he was still on great terms with them so they supplied him baseball uniforms and other gear with this rare \"duo\" tag. He mainly supplied uniforms for the local Youth, Legion, High School, Amateur, and town ball teams. I\'m not sure what this was for (again, if you experts know please let me know!). Walnut was such a baseball town back in the 1930s-1960s!
