Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic piece of 19th-century American sports ephemera. This is a vintage green paper string tag manufactured by the famous Dennison's Novelty Co. (Dennison Manufacturing Company), likely dating from the late 1880s to the early 1900s. While blank vintage Dennison tags are common, sports-themed advertising tags from this era are exceptionally scarce.
