Magnificent DeAgostini collector chess set inlead, on the theme of the mythical Star Wars saga.
This set includes all 64 original chesspieces, i.e. 2 complete sets of 32 pieces. One set represents the characters ofthe first trilogy, the other those of the second trilogy.
The set also includes the original resin boardspecially designed by Deagostini for this collection.
There are is also a binder, containing about40 sheets that include not only details and descriptions on the pieces, but alsoa quantity of sketches, production drawings and illustrations. The files are inGerman.
The pieces measure between 6.5 and 13 cm.
The board measures 53 x 53 cm.
It should be noted that these pieces were onlyavailable through a monthly subscription that gave access to two pieces permonth, and that to obtain all 64 pieces a substantial sum had to be paid.
The pieces are in very good condition, with nodamage or missing parts.
