Brand new never used. This is a holy Grail/rare/unobtainium item. 3/8” drive long handle teardrop quick release ratchet in satin finish, yet full Polish design. At the very end of the Craftsman USA lifecycle, they were implementing round handle ratchets into the lineup as shown in the last advertisement. It is unknown if this design actually ever made it to production. What I can tell you is that the stock number 9809 has not appeared individually on in the last three years.
This item came from a buddy of mine who reportedly obtained it from the folks who were photographing the industrial items for the Sears Craftsman advertisements. The timeline would seem to match up with the end of the Craftsman USA lifecycle. If there are other survivors out there for this stock number, they are certainly a few and far between. The owner of this item will join an elite club.
