This rare vintage 1930s Daisy Manufacturing Company Model 23 toy double-barrel break-action cork pop gun rifle features a solid wood stock and classic metal receiver stamped Daisy Mfg. Co. Plymouth, Mich. U.S.A. Pat. between the rear barrels. The faux-woodgrain metal finish remains in remarkably good shape across the entire 23-inch housing with no visible model number stamped on the frame.
This historical toy has been fully tested and is in excellent mechanical working order; both independent barrels easily latch into place when broken open, and the double triggers successfully release their spring-loaded mechanisms with crisp action.
The listing includes a matching vintage Daisy Pac-A-Long padded green vinyl soft storage case with carrying handles, and the zipper opens and closes very smoothly. Please note that while the cocking and firing mechanisms function perfectly, the toy does not include any corks or projectiles.
