Vintage Realistic LAB-400 Direct Drive Automatic Turntable – Cat. No. 42-2960A – Made in Japan
Tested for basic mechanical operation. Platter spins and strobe illuminates. 33/45 speed selection and speed adjustment controls respond. START/REJECT and START/REPEAT functions were tested, including automatic tonearm movement and return. The 7\", 10\" and 12\" record-size selector moves the tonearm to three distinct positions. Manual cueing control raises and lowers the cueing platform.
Headshell, cartridge and stylus are NOT included. Because these components are missing, audio playback was not tested. Exact speed calibration and final automatic set-down alignment have not been verified. Adjustment may be required after installation of the appropriate components and proper tonearm balancing.
Original dust cover is included and has visible hazing/scratches from age. Walnut-grained vinyl veneer cabinet and turntable show cosmetic wear consistent with age, including wear/chipping at one rear cabinet corner/edge. Please review all photos closely for cosmetic condition.
