WORKING TESTED CLEANED
The computer was opened and the inside was blown out of dirt and dust. The case was wiped down andcleaned along with any cables. The head of the 5.25\" floppy drive was cleaned the the travel rails werelight lubricated. The keyboard was fully taken apart, all contacts were cleaned, and put back together. Afterawhile, the keyboard on these SX-64\'s would lose their contacts and stop working. I took it apart and cleanedall those contacts and it works good. Many of the SX64s on will have keyboard issues. All keys areworking.
The case is in okay shape without any breaks or cracks. The handle moves as it should without anyissues. There is splatter of cosmetics on the case. I tried removing them it wouldn\'t budge. I am sure it addsto the uniqueness of this computer. The rubber feet are missing. One of the clasps for the keyboard is brokenwhich causes the keyboard to separate. I cannot see a gap when I lie the keyboard down flat and it doesn\'t jumparound or move when I am typing on it. It can be left alone, fixed, or glued (I will let the buyer figure that out).There is no burn in on the screen. Even though it didn\'t need it, the tube was connected to testequipment and the tube wasrejuvenate toaccentuate the colors.The cable that connects the computer tothe keyboard is ingreat shape.

This is a Revlon style SX64. The Revlon Cosmetic Company out of New York City set up at various expos or shows and even did door-to-door sales. The sales people had demo software that ran on these custom SX64. Even though the case look is slightly different, underneath it is just a normal SX-64 Commodore color computer.

This SX64 was found to have a few issues which have now been repaired. The following repair where performed:

1. Replaced Floppy ROM

2. Keyboard fully refurbished.

The SX64 then tested fully working with C64 diagnostic cart and test harness as well as the 1541 test program. Note that on the SX64, the diagnostic will not pass unless the internal floppy disk drive is disconnected. The internal disk drive was disconnected to pass the test and then reconnected before listing.

Various games were tested loading from floppy or cart.

This SX64 has some nicks and scratches on the case. The paint is peeling in some areas.

I included some of the Revlon software. The Ultimate II floppy disks (10) are empty disk. They would give the sales person a few of these to store information when needed. The computer will read the cartridge then it wants to find the program disks. I do not have the program floppy disk.

The cardboard box is what the sales person placed the SX-64 computer in to move it around. This Box is included. (Note: I will ship your the box show in the photos but I will have it incased in another strong shipping box with plenty of protection).

I have another one up that is in a lot better shape then this one. This is a good working computers.

A lot of work went into this computer to make it as like new as possible. The computer was tested and retested. All issues were fixed with new components. It was not just powered up and I ran it through many tests. Rest assure that you are getting a very nice SX64 computer.

policies leave me with no choice but to mark each of my sales with a “no return” policy. This is being done to protect me against returns such as (buyer’s remorse). After using the item for days and weeks, the buyer can submit a return and is not obligated to reimburse the seller for shipping charges and I have to pay for shipping charges back. Even though it is marked a “no return, “a buyer can still submit a return if the item was not as described or the item was damaged during shipping. Also, I do not need an policy to do what is right and accept the item back if it wasn’t as described or damaged during shipping. Keep in mind, that I mainly sell vintage computers and vintage computer accessories. That said even though the box/item may not show damage, the internal mechanism may have been damaged or jarred from a rough truck and/or plane ride. I will work with ALL my customers to resolve the problem. Recently, I have had to take back items where the buyer didn’t check with mom/dad, husband/wife, or God prior to buying and did a return. forced me to take the item back. Personally, I do not think that this is an acceptable way to return items. Many of the sellers on here are just trying to provide for their families and this kind of previous return is not fair to the seller. We are not Walmart or Costco that cannot absorb these financial damages. Again, I will work with all my costumers to ensure that they are happy with the item they purchased.
