Up for sale is a restored 1993 Sony D-321 Discman from my collection. This was a premium model in its day, featuring a metal lid, a durable ABS body, ESP anti-skip tech, and a digital optical output for audiophile setups.Like most Sony\'s Discmans of that era, it suffer from aging factory capacitors. I have completely overhauled this unit to ensure it runs reliably.🔧 What Was Done:
- Full Board Recap: desoldered and replaced 8 SMD capacitors and 3 through-hole capacitors using high-grade, reliable Panasonic HB and Panasonic KS series components to maintain pristine sound quality.
- Mechanical Service:cleaned and lubricated the sled and gears for smooth, quiet tracking.
Fully tested and working properly. It delivers nice, clear sound with that warm early-90s Sony signature.
