The binding is carried out using a specialized E5 acid-free adhesive formulated exclusively for spine application, offering greater flexibility than even the finest conventional bookbinder’s glues. The spine is subsequently reinforced with carefully selected mull and kraft paper of appropriate weight, ensuring a secure and lasting union between the text block and the endpapers. Each volume is completed with traditional headbands and a satin ribbon marker.
The case itself is constructed entirely from acid-free materials selected to ensure structural integrity and refined presentation. These include 2 mm archival bookboards, premium faux leather, and precision-applied heat-transfer foil. Standard editions are supplied with matte 120 gsm ivory endpapers.
