Beautiful vintage Royal Winton Grimwades teapot featuring the collectible Clyde chintz pattern, decorated with an all-over floral design of pink and yellow flowers with brown foliage and gold-tone accents.
This is the distinctive Ascot shape, featuring a squared footed body, angular handle and spout, scalloped upper edge and coordinating lid.
A wonderful collectible piece of vintage English pottery for Royal Winton collectors and cottagecore, grandmillennial and English cottage decor.

The lid is additionally marked PAT. NO. 30126.
The Clyde pattern dates to approximately the 1930s era and is part of Royal Winton\'s highly collectible English chintz pottery. 1930-1939 production.
CONDITION
This is an authentic vintage piece showing considerable signs of age and previous use.
There is extensive crazing throughout the glaze, including the interior. The interior also shows noticeable staining/discoloration. Gold-tone decoration shows wear/loss in areas, along with other surface wear consistent with age. There is a stable hairline crack at the spout; the spout remains firmly attached.
