In the middle of the field a figure in a red-orange jacket walks among five white geese, while small houses with red roofs sit low on the horizon.The upper half of the canvas is given to a wide sky of blue, white and grey-lavender clouds. Alexander Alexandrovsky (b. 1951) is a Russian painter based in St. Petersburg. He graduated from the Ilya Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 1989, where he studied under Boris Ugarov and Viktor Reikhet. A member of the Russian Union of Artists since 1996, Alexandrovsky works in landscape, still life, portraiture, and genre painting.
