This large, multi-sided medal features a raised image of an early football player preparing to kick a period leather ball. The lower edge appears signed “L. BERAN,” with the initials “C.A.” on the opposite side.
The reverse displays decorative intertwined rings, foliage and a central panel engraved “1913–1914.” Additional handwritten-style inscriptions appear along the surrounding panels, apparently identifying the competition, organization or recipient. Some wording is difficult to decipher and has not been positively identified.
An attached suspension loop remains present. The metal appears to be bronze or another copper-based alloy with an aged dark patina; its exact composition has not been tested.
