A rare and highly collectible SONY TA-F6B from 1977, featuring SONY’s innovative Pulse-Lock Power Supply and Dual-FET phono circuitry.
The TA-F6B is a sophisticated DC-coupled integrated amplifier from SONY’s golden era of analog audio design.
Its Pulse-Lock Power Supply provides excellent power efficiency with extremely low ripple, while the phono equalizer section uses a Dual-FET current-mirror differential amplifier designed to achieve excellent low-frequency response.
The power amplifier section features a pure complementary SEPP OTL configuration, reflecting SONY’s advanced circuit design of the period.
