This complete kit includes the key components needed for a professional clutch and flywheel replacement and is an excellent setup for stock or mildly modified vehicles. This XTD Stage 1 kit includes an XTD High Clamping Load Pressure Plate, XTD Steel-Back Organic Sprung Disc, XTD HD Single Mass Flywheel, Slave Cylinder & Bearing, Alignment Tool, Clutch Installation Guide, and XTD Clutch Decal. The XTD pressure plate holds approximately 25% more horsepower and torque than the stock pressure plate. The pressure plate is made from ductile iron and heat treated, making it about 30% to 40% stronger than a standard stock cast iron pressure plate. The XTD street disc uses high quality organic steel-back material and is designed for smooth engagement, quiet operation, improved durability, and street-friendly drivability. This kit works great for stock and mildly modified vehicles and is designed for street and daily driving, so everyday driving remains comfortable. Compared with a dual mass flywheel, a single mass flywheel offers stronger durability, quicker throttle response, better heat resistance, easier future service, and lower replacement cost (Unlike most factory dual mass flywheels, the XTD HD Single Mass Flywheel can typically be resurfaced during future clutch replacements, helping reduce long-term maintenance costs.)
XTD HD flywheels are engineered to O.E.M. specifications using premium grade iron with new ring gears and dowel pins. Each unit is dynamically balanced to help reduce vibration and maximize performance while offering a cost-effective alternative to resurfacing or replacing a worn factory flywheel.
