Here's a rare artifact. It's a vinyl promo copy of this album of pre-Police material that has been autographedby Sting (see pics #2 above), Stewart Copeland (see pic #3) and Andy Summers (see pic #4). Strontium 90 was a short-lived band composed of the three Police along with Mike Howlett of Gong. All of the material on this album—including a very early demo of "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic"—was recorded between 1976 and '77, but released for the first time in 1997. This is the original limited edition double-LP promo issue with a gatefold cover featuring notes in the fold (the second disc is a compilation of reggae-fied Police covers by Sting, Aswad, Steel Pulse, Sly & Robbie and others). The signed cover is in VG+ condition, with some light shelf wear—see pics above. Both LPs are near-mint. This comes fromfrom the collection of a former LA music industry professional; the signatures are guaranteed authentic.
