Vintage from sometime between 1988-1996. Handmade. Considering its age, it is in good preowned condition. Previous owner took good care of it. The velvet has some slight rubbing on it here and there but nothing that is real bad. The one thing I would point out is the gold threads look almost furry. As the metallic, foil, outer strands age, the layers will separate, exposing the softer inner threads. I picked this up because it is so impressive. Every single gold strand has a sequin threaded on to it and not one sequin is missing. Included more in-depth details about this sombrero in the pics. Great collectors piece by Salazar Yepez.
