Shakey Graves’ Can’t Wake Up on vinyl. Unplayed but unsealed—the packaging has been opened, but the record has never been played.Shakey Graves is the stage name of Alejandro Rose-Garcia, an Austin, Texas singer-songwriter known for blending blues, folk, country, and rock. His early sound was raw, stripped-down Americana, often performed as a one-man band with a modified suitcase serving as a kick drum.Released in 2018, Can’t Wake Up moves toward psychedelic indie rock and dreamlike pop, expanding his roots-based style into a fuller, more layered band sound. It still has blues and country touches, but it’s less acoustic and more atmospheric than his early work.
