Antique Sheffield Silver-Plated Teapot with matching creamer.
Elegant antique two-piece set dating from the late 19th century, consisting of a beautiful milk or cream jug and a richly decorative Teapot featuring hand engraving.
The creamer has an elegant rounded body, a broad pouring lip and a tall shaped handle with decorative scroll details. The body is embellished with delicate engraved floral ornamentation, floral motifs and decorative garlands.
The base is marked “E.P.B.M. James Dixon & Sons Sheffield 8529 1/2 Made in England.” The EPBM designation indicates electroplated Britannia metal.
A beautiful and highly decorative antique set, ideal for a collection of British silver plate, traditional table settings, interior display or as an original gift for a collector of antique objects.
