This elegant bronze sculpture captures a lithe dancer poised in a moment of perfect balance and grace. Standing on one leg, she lifts the other in a refined pose while extending her arms outward in a T-shape, creating a harmonious and dynamic silhouette. Her flowing skirt rises with the movement, and the finely detailed costume—adorned with delicate studs—adds texture, rhythm, and visual richness to the composition.
Inspired by the stylistic traditions of Russian and French artistry, this piece reflects the influence of Demetre Chiparus, renowned for his iconic Art Deco dancers. The sculpture embodies the elegance, theatricality, and decorative sophistication associated with the period, blending expressive motion with refined craftsmanship.
Handcrafted using the traditional lost-wax casting method, this genuine bronze sculpture offers exceptional detail and durability. It is mounted on a polished black marble base, providing both stability and an elegant contrast to the warm bronze tones. Signed Chiparus, this captivating dancer sculpture is a timeless addition to any fine art collection or interior décor setting.
