Handmade studio pottery mug featuring an unusual square, slab-built shape with a softly wavy/scalloped rim and substantial rounded handle. Finished in a beautiful mottled sage green and warm rusty brown glaze that gives it loads of earthy, one-of-a-kind character.
The bottom is hand signed/inscribed “Debbie Howard.” I have not been able to confidently identify the maker, so this piece is being offered simply as signed studio pottery rather than attributed to a specific artist.
This mug was found as part of a matching set, but sadly its siblings had seen better days — this was the one worth rescuing!
