Testing / Important Bluetooth Information
I have tested the unit and it appears to be functioning in several respects:
- The Chisel powers on.
- It charges in the charging cradle.
- I have been able to pair it with my phone.
- The indicator lights operate.
- I can get the unit into the measurement-ready state.
However, I have not been able to successfully complete a body measurement with my phone.
During my testing, the Bluetooth/app connection drops when I attempt to use the Chisel on my body. Placing the unit back into the charging cradle allows me to reset it and repeat the process, but I have not been able to maintain the connection through a completed measurement.
I do not know the cause of this issue.
It could be related to the device, the Skulpt app, Bluetooth/phone compatibility, setup, or something in the procedure I am using. I have not diagnosed the problem and therefore cannot guarantee full app/Bluetooth functionality.
I am describing exactly what I have been able to test rather than assuming that the Chisel itself is defective.
This may be of interest to someone already familiar with Skulpt products, someone using a compatible phone/setup, or someone looking for a replacement Chisel and accessories.
Condition
The Chisel and accessories are in good overall cosmetic condition with normal signs of previous use and storage.
