A striking real-photo postcard titled "A Stormy Evening" on Lake Windermere in England's Lake District, No. 162 in the celebrated Abraham's Series published by G. P. Abraham, Ltd of Keswick. The atmospheric image captures choppy lake water, distant Lakeland fells receding into the mist, and a dramatic cloud-filled sky — a fine example of Abraham's photographic artistry.
