Woven with an emphasis on texture, this work shirt from Studio D’artisan features a kakishibu garment-dye applied to a newly developed 13oz heavy slub fabric. The warp is constructed using a mix of No. 6 slub and nep yarns, with the weft utilizing No. 5 “super slub” yarns. Dyed with kakishibu tannins, the fabric develops a dynamic reddish-brown tone that will continue to evolve with wear. The shirt is finished with large chest patch pockets, black resin buttons, and a factory rinse to remove shrinkage.
