It is possibly signed 975 making it 97.5% sterling, not so much making it worth more because of silver value but because it make it easier to trace to the original maker, 975 sterling was used by some of the more notable silversmith from the 40-50’s-80’s , with the over the top style it is likely from an extremely talented artist
I’m not even sure that it’s not just a perfectly worn 2 and not even a 7, but it is an absolute piece of wearable art either way. Thank you for looking :)
