Observer\'s Book of Airplanes - the scarcest of all the titles in the series. Published in 1945, revised with additions from the first two impressions from 1942 and 1943. The third impression includes an additional general key to the types of British, American, German and Japanese airplanes covered in the book. All three impressions are equally scarce and desirable. Describing one hundred and eleven types with 390 illustrations. Considering it\'s 81 years old, it\'s in great shape. Binding is tight, cover shows age related wear. A good copy of the third impression of this scarcest volume in the Observer\'s series - published towards the end of the Second World War as an aid to aircraft recognition. Copies of this title, published under wartime economy restrictions, are rarely found now in such collectable condition. No dust jacket unfortunately. Free postage, compare my price with others, why pay more? I can only find 2 other copies for sale, both on Abebooks, one is $248 (without dust jacket) plus postage, the other is $800 (with dust jacket) plus postage. Please check my over 3600 100% positive reviews and please see my other listings. Thank you!
