I have this because Third Reality sent me an extra. The original shipment from China was stuck in customs for many weeks. In the mean time they got some in stock in their US warehouse so they shipped me one from US stock when I complained. Then this one that was stuck in customs arrived weeks later.I can say from personal experience that it is easy to install and connect to any smart home hub that supports Matter. Stick the position sensor to the door, put the garage door opener in the clamp, plug it in, hold the button to put in in pair mode, scan the QR from your smart home hubs app. Done. Because it uses Matter you can easily use it from multiple apps. I paired it with my Home Assistant system as the main controller and with Apple Home. I mostly use Home Assistant, but its helpful that I can voice activate it using Siri in the car using Apple Car Play. Same thing will easily work on any Android device with Android Auto. Matter integration creates a lot of possibilitiesThis is the device for you are like me and want local control of your devices, and then stupidly purchase a Chamberlain or Liftmaster with the new security 3 protocol that prevents the usual methods of local control. This is the workaround for every security protocol on every brand of garage door opener that has remote control that will fit inside it. Love this thing!
