Now this one is a banger front to back.This is Tory Lanez’s 2016 debut album I Told You, the original U.S. 2LP pressing on Mad Love/Interscope, B0025381-01. Fourteen tracks spread across four sides, and unlike plenty of albums built around two big singles, this one holds together all the way through. You’ve obviously got “Say It” and “LUV,” but then there’s “Guns and Roses,” “Flex,” “4 A.M. Flex,” “Friends With Benefits,” “Cold Hard Love,” “Dirty Money” and “Loners Blvd.” The production credits run deep too, with names including Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat, Frank Dukes, DJ Dahi and Play Picasso contributing to the album. And this copy is exceptionally strong: NM vinyl and NM jacket. The records and packaging have been very well cared for, making this exactly the kind of copy I’d hold out for rather than settling for a beat-up example of an increasingly difficult title.
