This drive reaches us certified by our supplier as Grade A, 100% health.
What we will tell you plainly: it was manufactured on 31 August 2019 and it has been in datacentre service. Price it as a used enterprise drive of unknown hours, because that is what it is.
Run CrystalDiskInfo or Hard Disk Sentinel the moment it arrives. If the SMART data is not what you expected from the above, send it back inside 30 days and we refund you. We would rather lose the sale than argue about it.

These are Toshiba's figures for the model, not measurements of this unit. MTBF is a population statistic and says nothing about any individual drive.
What we do to every drive
- Sanitised to NIST SP 800-88 Purge before dispatch. Certificate issued against this serial and included with the drive. No drive leaves us carrying anyone else's data.
- SMART counters untouched. We do not reset them. Nobody who resets them will tell you they did.
- Packed for transit. Anti-static bag inside a foam-lined box rated for drive shipping. Drives break in ways that do not show on the outside of a carton.
Twelve-month warranty
If this drive fails within 12 months of delivery, you choose: replacement or refund. We pay shipping both ways. No restocking fee, and you do not need the original packaging.
To claim, send us the serial number and a screenshot of the drive's current SMART data. Months 1–12 are handled directly by us — 's own returns process only runs for the first 30 days, so message us through after that and we will sort it out.
What the warranty does not cover: your data. A hardware warranty covers hardware. Every drive fails eventually, new or refurbished, and no warranty brings data back. If the contents matter, they must exist in more than one place. That is not us being careful with wording — it is the most important sentence on this page.
