The dual-feed direct clutch modification can significantly increase the torque capacity of the 3rd-gear clutch, while the upgraded boost valve and bushing help maintain more consistent pressure regulation. The EPC boost pressure relief system is designed to help protect against excessive boost pressure that can damage the transmission case, direct drum and 4L80E — 1991–2013
