This Ulvac GLD-040 direct-drive oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pump (manufactured 2007) has been oil-flushed, cleaned, and bench-tested. It reached a verified ultimate vacuum of 5.9mTorrdrawing2.58 A, and measured under 55.1 dB(A) at 1 meter. This unit has not been rebuilt — it is sold as a cleaned, tested, fully functional used pump. The GLD-040 is Ulvac's smallest GLD-series pump: compact, low-vibration, low-noise, with an integrated oil mist trap and anti-suckback protection. Its dual-voltage 120/240 VAC motor plugs into standard outlets on either voltage system with no conversion needed.
Tested & Verified
Before listing, this pump was oil-flushed, cleaned, run, and its ultimate vacuum measured on a factory-calibrated KJLC 275i Convection-Enhanced Pirani gauge. It reached 5.9 mTorr, drew 2.58 A on a Kill-A-Watt usage meter, and measured 55.1 dB(A) on an Extech 407730 sound level meter at 1 meter. The pump starts cleanly, runs smoothly, and holds vacuum.
