This is a beautiful archival UNDERCOVER white skirt (i.e. circa 2007). Made in Japan, this skirt is 100% silk and 100% cotton. These skirts are meant to be worn slung low on the hip. They have a 1” silk waistband with a hidden hook fastener and invisible side zipper and 2 silk chiffon panels , one in front and one in back. The side panels are an extremely fine ribbed tissue cotton that hangs longer on each side. Because the fabric is very sheer there is a cotton liner as well. The Japanese size 4 measures 15.5\" across or doubled to 31\" at the waist, approx 18.5\" across or doubled to 37\" at the hip and is 25” long in the front and back and the sides are 32.5\".
UNDERCOVER is designed by Jun Takahashi, a very edgy designer from Japan who has a worldwide cult following known for very unusual, innovative designs that change from season to season.
