Complete 5-volume set of Uncle Arthur’s Bedtime Stories by Arthur S. Maxwell, 1976 hardcover edition.
The condition of this set is truly exceptional, especially considering it is approximately 50 years old. The books have been remarkably well preserved and present with bright, vibrant illustrated covers, beautiful clean spines, sharp-looking edges and corners, and exceptionally clean page blocks. Very little evidence of handling or shelf wear is visible.
This is one of those vintage sets where the photographs really tell the story. The books look as though they were carefully stored and barely handled for decades. The colors remain rich and glossy, the bindings appear strong and tight, and the entire five-volume set displays beautifully together.
