Up for sale is an unmarked cased lattice meerschaum pipe, made in Turkey, offered here as NOS / unsmoked. Very similar to CAO and SMS cased meerschaum pipes.
This is a striking bent meerschaum pipe with detailed lattice carving around the bowl and shank, a smooth rim, and an amber-tone acrylic stem with decorative shaping. The pipe presents beautifully, with a classic Turkish meerschaum look and nice contrast between the white carved bowl and warm amber stem.
The pipe itself is unmarked. The fitted case has a Made in Turkey label, and the original old Tinder Box price sticker remains on the stem.
Condition is excellent NOS overall. The chamber is clean and unsmoked. The pipe shows only light storage/handling marks from age. The fitted case is included and shows age/storage wear, including wear to the exterior, lining, and metal clasp/hinge hardware. Please review all photos carefully.
