This collection is an antique Victorian Edwardian stud button set that includes 18 buttons and a set of collar studs. The buttons are round in shape and made of metal, with a gold color. Manufactured before 1930, this lot is a unique and historical addition to any sewing or antique collection.
One has a patent date of 9/1878.
These were considered a form of jewelry and could be used on several clothing items.Some are dented others are in good shape. I could scrap these gold ones for $300.00 - but decided these need to stay in the collection - some are gold: 10k, some are gold rolled. and then the others are gold plate - please look at the pictures.The entire set came from my great grandmother and I don\'t have a use for them.
