I am not a camera expert. Google lens actually helped me work through the Agfa camera to test all the components and teach me about it but this takes way too much my time 45 minutes, but I do have complete tutorial of how to operate the 80 year old Agfa lol
Could be worse things to do with my time like go back to work?
Vintage 120 / Medium Format Camera Project Lot (2 Cameras)
Selling a fantastic pair of mid-century analog cameras sourced from a local estate. This lot includes a classic German-engineered folding camera and a piece of local Western New York tech history from Binghamton. Perfect for collectors, vintage shelf display, or camera restoration CAMERA 1: Post-WWII Agfa Jsolette (Isolette) 4.5
* **Format:** 6x6cm Square Format (Uses standard modern 120 roll film)
* **Lens:** Agfa Apotar 1:4.5 f=8.5cm
* **Shutter:** Vintage Compur Shutter (Speeds up to 1/175 + B & T modes)
* **Country of Origin:** Munich, Germany
**Detailed Condition Report:**
This camera is structurally and cosmically in excellent vintage condition but has a standard mechanical issue common to its age. The interior film chamber is pristine and looks brand new, complete with the original "Agfa Film B-2" vintage paper decal.
* **Bellows:** Structurally intact and solid. No tears or collapses, but features heavy exterior dust layer from long-term open shelf storage.
* **Mechanics:** The focus adjustment ring, aperture iris lever, and shutter speed dial all rotate and move smoothly and freely. Shutter speed gear train can be heard shifting internally.
* **The Issue:** The camera has "Sticky Shutter" syndrome from dried-up vintage factory lubricants. The built-in mechanical self-timer buzzes down perfectly, but the internal master shutter blades are stuck and do not snap open. The top-plate double-exposure prevention mechanism is engaged/locked because no film is loaded to trigger the release. Selling as-is for parts, repair, or display.
