GENUINE VINTAGE PERKO H-6-71 BOAT NAVIGATION LIGHT BOARDS – AUTHENTIC MATCHING PAIR
These are a highly desirable, authentic pair of vintage Perko H-6-71 teardrop-style marine sidelights. This set includes both the Port (Red lens) and Starboard (Green lens) fixtures. They are mounted directly to original marine wood boards salvaged straight from a classic sailboat hull/shroud setup.
An exceptional piece of structural hardware for traditional sailboat refits (Cape Dory, Westsail, Chris-Craft, Hinckley) or high-end maritime restoration projects.
DIMENSIONS & SPECIFICATIONS:
- Wood Boards: 38 7/8” Long x 3 1/4” Wide x 3/4” Thick. Solid wood with pre-routed wiring paths. The wood displays the classic tight, interlocking grain pattern and deep reddish undertones indicative of vintage marine Mahogany (commonly utilized on period correct runabouts), However, due to the age of the clear coat varnish it may appeal beautifully to collectors looking to match either Teak or Mahogany brightwork layouts.
- Perko Lights: Approximately 4 1/4" Long x 2 3/8" Wide x approximately 2 1/4" High. Bronze plated die-cast zinc alloy.
- Manufacturer Authenticity: Clearly stamped "PERKO H-6-71" on the cast metal housings.
- Wiring Architecture: Heavy-duty electrical wire leads run cleanly down the boards, ending in quick-connect plugs at the base for easy tie-in to your vessel's 12V electrical system. Marked on wire 16/2 BOAT CABLE 600 VOLTS (UL) 105C.
CONDITION & TESTING DETAILS (PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING):
1. Metal Housing Fracture: The cast metal housing on the PORT side light (Red Lens) has a structural stress crack/split running upward from the lower-left mounting screw hole (please review the close-up photo carefully). The light assembly is still firmly anchored to the teak board, but the fracture is visible.
2. Plastic Lenses: Both the red and green vertical ribbed plastic lenses are in good shape with no major cracks or chips but do show scuffs and melt type marks.
3. Electronics Status: The wiring is structurally intact, but the lights are being sold as UNTESTED. This set is sold strictly "As-Is / Untested" for parts, restoration, or decorative project use.
