Early investment/purchase agreement issued toA.S. McClenaghan, associated with W.F. Crane Co., 149 Broadway, New York City. Agreement records the purchase of 3 shares of Preferred Stock for $150. Fidelity Capital Corporation was based in Boston, Massachusetts. Includes the original agreement/contract paperwork shown in the photos.
2. B.J. Baker & Company, Inc. Stock Certificate No. 3527 – 1924
Issued October 24, 1924 toA.S. McClenaghanfor 4 shares of Class A Non-Voting Common Stock. B.J. Baker & Company was incorporated in Massachusetts, with its corporate seal dated 1918. Attractive green engraved certificate with eagle vignette.
3. Conservative Credit System, Inc. Preferred Stock Certificate No. 1209 – 1932
Issued November 1, 1932 toAndrew S. McClenaghanfor exactly 60 shares of Preferred Capital Stock. Incorporated in Delaware. Attractive orange certificate with eagle vignette and embossed corporate seal.
4. State of Delaware Department of State Letter – 1960
Original letter dated July 18, 1960 and addressed toIvy E. McClenaghan. The Delaware Secretary of State\'s office confirms that Conservative Credit System, Inc. was incorporated September 21, 1932 and was still in existence and in good standing at the time of the letter.
Together, the documents form an interestingMcClenaghan family financial/investment archive spanning approximately four decades. The 1960 Delaware correspondence provides particularly interesting provenance for the 1932 Conservative Credit System certificate.
