Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage Art Deco "Executive Lamp" manufactured by the Atlas Appliance Corporation out of Brooklyn, New York.This striking machine-age industrial desk lamp features a heavy, tiered cast iron base and an adjustable, rotatable cylindrical sheet metal shade that allows you to easily direct light across your workspace. It comes in a highly sought-after, rare factory-original avocado/lime green enamel finish that provides a wonderful pop of color.Condition: Beautiful vintage condition with a gorgeous, authentic aged patina. The original green enamel paint shows minor chipping, light surface wear, and character spots typical for a 1930s/1940s item. No major dents or structural damage.Functionality: Fully tested and WORKS perfectly! The internal brass socket is fully intact and the original ball-chain pull switch clicks cleanly on and off.Markings: The underside of the heavy cast iron base is clearly stamped with: "MFG. BY ATLAS APP. CO. BROOKLYN N.Y. U.S.A." and "EXECUTIVE LAMP BASE".Note on Wiring: The lamp features a mid-century replacement plastic cord and plug. There is some minor paint overspray on the wire from a previous owner's cosmetic touch-up.
