An excellent survivor from the early television-service era, designed as professional/enthusiast test equipment for television and FM alignment.
Features the distinctive dual calibrated marker/oscillator dials, band selector, sweep-width and fine-attenuation controls, attenuator, indicator lamp, terminals, metal cabinet and carrying handle.
The TS-4 preceded the later TS-4A and represents an early generation of Heathkit television alignment equipment. Heathkit documentation confirms the TS-series as dedicated TV alignment generators.
Original aged condition with substantial authentic workshop patina, including paint loss, scratches, oxidation, surface wear and age-related discoloration. Power cord is present. Operational condition has not been confirmed; sold as untested vintage electronic equipment.
