Please review the detailed breakdown below before offerding:* **The Bell (Damage Detail):** The rim of the #72 bell flare has been pushed in from an impact. Crucially, the metal and the silver plating are **NOT cracked or split**, meaning it can be professionally rolled out by a qualified brass repair technician. * **Valves & Action:** Excellent condition. The three piston valves are clean, lightning-fast, and pop back up with great compression. The original pearl inlays on the valve buttons are in mint condition.* **Slides:** All slides—including the unique Vindabona main tuning slide, 1st valve slide, and 3rd valve slide—**move effortlessly and smoothly**. No stuck slides or frozen tubing.* **Finish:** The original silver plating is remarkably well-preserved across the body, showing only light, standard tarnishing and minor handling wear consistent with a 50+ year old vintage instrument. * **Mouthpiece:** Includes a matching vintage Vincent Bach 10-1/2C trumpet mouthpiece which balances the dark voice of the 72 bell with fantastic upper-register clarity.---## The Story Behind the MLV Vindabona Model 72The **MLV (Medium Large Vindabona)** configuration is a legendary design variation from Vincent Bach. Unlike a standard ML bore, the Vindabona utilizes a progressive \"step-bore\" sequence that starts smaller at the leadpipe and opens up gradually through the tuning slide before meeting the valves. When paired with the oversized, acoustically warm **Model 72 bell**, it creates a truly unique playing experience: the broad, smoky, symphonic projection of a massive German rotary trumpet, but with the familiar slotting, flexibility, and centering of a traditional American Elkhart Stradivarius. ---## Shipping & Terms* **Shipping:** Securely packed, and fully insured. Ships via FedEx/UPS Ground within 2 business days of cleared payment.* **Returns:** Sold As-Is due to the described bell damage. Please look closely at all photos and ask any questions before offerding.
