Vintage 1973 Alpha Industries L-2B Flyer's Jacket, USAF, Lt. Col. Name Tag
An authentic US Air Force issue L-2B flight jacket, made by Alpha Industries under a June 1973 government contract. Sage green nylon shell, bright orange lining, and fifty years of flight line wear.
It comes with a removable Velcro name tag reading LINSCOMB, H.G., LT. COL., USAF, with Command Pilot wings. The tag came with the jacket.
Well-worn and sold as-is. The knit collar, cuffs and waistband have holes and fraying, with a small tear in the right cuff rib. The shell has some light surface marks and a few small dark specks. The zippers work, the snaps are intact, and the orange lining is bright and in good shape. Please look closely at the photos, since the knit damage is shown in detail.
