Pair of vintage wooden egg-shaped trinket / keepsake boxes, made in Brazil.
Each egg is turned from solid wood with a removable fitted top and hollow interior. Beautiful natural grain gives each piece a slightly different appearance. Approximately 6” tall and 3.5” wide.
Both bottoms are hand-marked “MADE IN BRAZIL” along with markings that appear to read “01-74”, possibly indicating a 1974 production date.
