Up for sale is a fantastic piece of mid-century banking Americana: a Vintage 1976 United States Bicentennial Liberty Bell Coin Bank. This promotional item was originally distributed by Wyandotte Savings Bank to celebrate 200 years of American independence. [1]
Manufactured by the reputable Mayville Plastics Inc., this still bank features a highly detailed, bronze-finished replica of the iconic Liberty Bell safely housed within a protective, clear lucite display case. The front of the black base showcases the elegant gold-stamped Wyandotte Savings Bank logo alongside the years 1776–1976, while the back features an informational plaque detailing the history and timeline of the real Liberty Bell.
