Vintage 1980s Lionbot Voltron Red Lion #2 Diecast Metal Action Figure Complete
Vintage Die-Cast Metal Figure from the 1980\'s. Red Lion #2 has plastic elbow joint and partial tail. Elbow joint functions perfectly and will hold its position - it is NOT loose. The tail also holds its position and is not loose, but the end of the tail that fits into the arm hole of the Black Lion is partially broken. The spring activated firing mechanism works perfectly! The head (missile) holds in place and fires when the button is pressed. All four legs fold neatly into position. The lion\'s legs are also strong enough to hold position and keep the lion upright when standing/posing individually.
The item is in great shape but shows wear expected for a toy that is 40+ years old - the chrome finish is faded on some parts and paint wear is apparent. The die-cast body shows no maker\'s marks. HOWEVER, the head shows a maker\'s mark and is labeled with \"© BANDAI 1981 TAIWAN\" (see photo #11). This piece isPerfect for fans of the Voltron franchise and anime enthusiasts, and captures the essence of the classic 1980s era with its detailed design and nostalgic charm.
