Stunning Pair of Vintage A.N. Oppenheim Handcrafted Solid Copper Trays – Made in Israel
This is an exceptional matching pair of vintage 100% copper trays by A.N. Oppenheim, handcrafted in Israel and covered with remarkably intricate raised floral and scrollwork decoration.
The craftsmanship is absolutely beautiful. Each square tray features an elaborate central medallion surrounded by concentric bands of flowers, scrolling foliage and highly detailed textured work. The outer border has a wonderful hand-hammered finish that catches the light beautifully.
Although portions appear almost silver-toned in photographs because of the highly reflective finish and lighting, these trays are copper throughout. The warm copper coloring is especially apparent when viewed from an angle and on the reverse.
One tray still retains its original A.N. Oppenheim identification tag, while the accompanying hardware is clearly marked “A.N. OPPENHEIM – HAND MADE IN ISRAEL.”
These are not lightweight modern decorative reproductions—they have the character and workmanship associated with vintage handcrafted Israeli metalwork.
