This is AO’s classic pilot shape. Listed from the stamps on this pair only. Not claimed as current military issue or new production.
Condition — used, with oxidation:
- Frame has oxidation and plating wear on the rims, top bar, hinges, and temples
- Green corrosion (verdigris) inside / under the clear temple tips
- Nose pads are original AO pads, aged and dirty
- Lenses have light surface wear / haze when viewed in certain light no major scratches
- No deep cracks visible in the photos
- Hinges open and close
- No case, cloth, or box
Sold as-is. Corrosion is not hidden. These are a collector / restore pair more than a mint daily-wear pair. Photos are of the actual glasses.
