Impressive vintage classical sculpture depicting the biblical hero David carrying his sling and shepherd’s pouch before his legendary confrontation with Goliath.Standing approximately 15.5 inches tall, this substantial decorative figure features beautifully modeled anatomy, expressive facial details, deeply sculpted hair, flowing drapery, and an elaborate textured base. Its warm ivory coloration and naturally aged surface give it wonderful Old World character and the appearance of antique carved stone.The underside retains a portion of its original silver foil manufacturer’s label. The exact maker and age have not been confirmed.
